4. My special place

My special place has got to be the garden. The garden is special to me because it’s somewhere I can go and get peace and quiet. I also read books and sometimes just sit down and listen to the things around me. If it is a cold day I can feel the wind and taste the smell of the fresh fields. If it is a hot day I can feel the heat hitting against my bare skin. Often animals such as cows, sheep and chickens fill the air with sounds of summer. On a breezy day I often see the trees sway side to side and when I look up I see clouds floating past. This makes me feel calm. I usually go on my own but [] and [] follow me but I don’t mind because they keep me company and it’s fun. Picture of garden with two dogs.

5. My purple paradise

I chose the colour of my bedroom and it is a nice and bright purple and it took a lot of planning. I love it because it’s private so I can just relax, watch a DVD on my telly or do a project. I like reading and I do it every day. My Papasan chair, which I call The Big Moon Chair, is a fantastic place to sit down and read a good book. My favourite author is JK Rowling because I love the Harry Potter series. The reason why I chose my bedroom as my special place is because I never used to have my own room as I had to share with my sister, and because it’s got a great view of Reedham. Picture of moon chair with stuffed animals, toys, etc.

At tea time I smell food being cooked in the oven. I like joining in the action and excitement. That is why it is my favourite place (picture of semi-detached house)
