An old tale from Binham of a local fiddler and his dog who set out to explore a newly revealed underground passageway but were never seen again.
In 1703, Jimmy Grease was playing his fiddle
for his dog Trapp.
They heard a rumble, Trapp went to investigate.
Trapp fund a dark tunnel and he ran inside. Jimmy heard his dog whining and ran to look.
He saw a shadowy form.
Then Trapp appeared trembling.
The shadow crept closer and closer.
Years later, workmen dug up a skeleton of a man and a dog.
