The rain poured down and the lightning struck hard as the two young children splodged along the flooded road. "Run Billy!" shouted Charlotte. Billy immediately began to charge down the road, splashing Charlotte with freezing cold water as he did. Tedious minutes passed like hours as Billy and Charlotte realised how exposed they were.

"We need to find shelter" called Billy, "And fast!" The rain was beginning to get very heavy now and the water was nearly up to their knees. Suddenly there was a blast of fierce lightning.

"The Clunch Pit!" screamed Charlotte.

The two children turned their feet and began running up to the top of the hill. Eventually, they reached the Clunch Pit. "Quick we need to crawl into that cave" screeched Billy. Bang, bang, bang!

"Where are we?" asked Charlotte. "Somewhere different" replied Billy "This is a time travelling Clunch Pit!..." They both said at the same time.
